The Story
Marcus plays tenor sax at The Velvet Room, the kind of club where the real business happens after the set ends. When the club's owner is found dead and the police show little interest in solving it, Marcus starts asking questions — and discovers The Velvet Room is a front for a network that's been operating since Prohibition. Now the people who run the network want Marcus to play a very different kind of gig, and saying no isn't one of the options.
